September 2022, Dubai, UAE: Barasti Beach Bar at Le Meridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Waterpark opens its tent for Oktober fest, bringing back the annual Bavarian tradition in honor of the 183rd fest. Head down to this buzzing spot from Sunday, 18 September – Saturday, 1 October to find wursts, pretzels, steins, Löwenbräus, live oompah band performances and everything German, all while capturing the true Bavarian essence.


To celebrate this year’s Wiesn with a blast, Barasti Beach Bar brings you The Oompah Girls – an all female cabaret band of five dressed in traditional drindle. A singer, saxophonist, guitarist, keyboard player, and drummer performing a varied collection of traditional and current pop classics. Capturing the whole Bavarian vibe, this all female band is definitely a jewl on the crown of the fest. They will be performing live on Tuesday, September 27, Wednesday, September 28, Thursday, September 29, Friday, September 30 and Saturday, October 1.


Accompanying the Bavarian entertainment, we have delectable German cuisine set for the occassion. Indulge in a true d’Wiesn experience by enjoying fantastic food and beverage options curated by chef Robert Berry. Grab a delicious Sausage Platter for AED 180, which includes five varieties of juicy German sausages with sauerkraut, German potato salad, caramelized onion gravy and a selection of mustards. Also find the Schweinshaxe for AED 120 – braised pork knuckle with sauerkraut, bread dumplings, bacon and sour cream, mashed potatoes, sautéed green beans and beer gravy. Don’t forget to grab a few napkins! A German favourite, we have the Orbatzdaand fresh Pretzels for AED 50;  German cheese and beer dip served along with fresh pretzels and pumpernickel bread. Try the Bratwurst burstig with flavors for AED 90 which has tender grilled German sausages with bacon and sour cream, mashed potatoes, sauerkraut, sautéed green beans, caramelized onion gravy and a selection of mustards. For curry lovers, we’re offering the Currywurst for AED 60, including succulent bratwurst sausages tossed in mild curry ketchup with thick cut fries. Gulp it all down with a stein of Löwenbräu for AED 50 or a bottle of Erdinger for AED 40. Get a sausage, pretzel and stein for AED 80, and make it a double order for AED 150. If you are a fan of steins, then pick the sausage platter and two steins combo for AED 150.
